Bring identification.
Identification and a Social Security Number (SSN) for both youth and adult are needed to open the account. Accepted forms of ID:
- Youth (under 18): A government issued ID such as a California driver’s license or US Passport or a combination two of these – Birth certificate, Social Security Card, student picture ID (in-state)
- Adult: A government issued ID such as a California driver’s license or US Passport or a combination of primary (driver’s permit, ARC Green Card or permanent resident card, or foreign passport) and secondary identification (utility bill, vehicle registration)
