businesses and individuals across California, has announced its first-ever California Bank & Trust Top Small Businesses in San Francisco Awards. The new initiative is designed to recognize and support the innovative local
entrepreneurs and small businesses that are driving economic growth in select San Francisco neighborhoods.
Nominations are open through November 30, 2025, for the following categories: Small Business of the Year, Small Business Leader of the Year, Small Business Workplace Culture, Most Innovative Small Business and Small Business Community Champion.
“Launching this awards program is our way of celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit that defines San Francisco,” said CB&T Senior Vice President, Regional Manager for Northern California Erica Fernandez. “These small businesses are not only building innovative solutions and creating jobs—they’re shaping the character and resilience of our communities. We’re proud to recognize the entrepreneurs whose vision and commitment are making a lasting impact—not just within their industries, but across the communities they serve.”
Eligible businesses must be headquartered in San Francisco, be in business for a minimum of two years and generate between $200,000 and $20 million in annual revenue. Complete rules and eligibility are listed on the voting site.
